New Wave – Post Punk - Dark - Synth Pop - 80's - Romantic
Questo mese si torna al sabato e si torna alle origini, per celebrare, a dodici anni di distanza dalla prematura scomparsa di Adrian Borland, quella che molti cultori ritengono una delle più grande band della New Wave: The Sound.
Con sette album siglati tra 1980 e 1987, e un successo mai realmente raggiunto a causa di un destino avverso, The Sound sono stati riscoperti grazie alle ristampe effettuate dalla cult label Renascent.
Quando è esploso l'effimero movimento 'nu-wave', varie band, tra cui Interpol, Editors, White Rose Movement, White Lies hanno elargito, con la loro musica, il loro tributo ai londinesi The Sound e ai mancuniani Joy Division.
Un party dark wave dove ampio spazio verrà dato ai Sound con un preascolto quasi interamente dedicato a loro e una ampia selezione del loro repertorio, che verrà presentata nel momento del dancefloor.
