un gruppo forse mai abbastanza ricordato....qui bel basso, ottima chitarra, voce intensa. Si diceva che dark è anche introspezione:
allora qui trovo gran classe nel porgere anche un testo apparentemente semplice, e intensità nell'interpretazione. Magnifico.

Sì hai ragione, gli Shock Therapy erano un ottimo gruppo sottovalutato come spesso accade. Di loro purtroppo ho solamente "No fear of Death" ma le loro cose si trovano comunque, con un po' di pazienza. Carina la tua compilation....ho molti di quei brani nei rispettivi album...a mio avviso meglio il disc 1 che hai postato in dettaglio che il disc 2....

Mi son sempre piaciuti i Malaise, gruppo molto sottovalutato!

Mentre hai risposto stavo finendo di aggiungere brani alla scaletta sopra...Sì i Malaise a me son sempre piaciuti un sacco. C'è quella Separation lì che ha tutto il 'necessario' dell'ambaradan topico per un brano tipically gothic rock, però che equilibrio ed eleganza, almeno secondo me..e una carica fuori dal comune. A me inizia a venire la pelle d'oca dai primi accordi quando dopo il primo giro dice "Yeah"!

E menzione speciale anche per l'album "Destroying the world to save it" degli Ikon, tutto bello....ma quando lungo un album così oscuro e duro ti ritrovi d'un tratto la John-Krol con i suoi cori eterei zigzaganti...

E la cover che i Malaise hanno fatto per la mitica "Assimilate" degli Skinny Puppy non la trovi eccellente?
