CURRENT 93 -HoneySuckle Æons

The Current 93 Family on this album is: Eliot Bates, Baby Dee, Andrew Liles, Lisa Pizzighella, Armen Ra and David Tibet.

The album contains 11 tracks: KINGDOM; MOON; PERSIMMON; CUCKOO; JASMINE; LILY; POMEGRANATE; HONEYSUCKLE; SUNFLOWER; PLANET; QUEENDOM. It is approximately 38 minutes long.

It comes in a black and white 4-panel digipak, with a 16 page booklet which has all the lyrics for the album, photos of the C93 Family on this album, and credits. All artwork and lyrics are by David Tibet. copticcat

There will be two different CD versions—one for the UK/Europe, and one for North America. Although all the mixes of the songs are the same on both CD versions, the bridging music and crossfades between the tracks on the different versions are all different. The cover artwork and CD booklet artwork on the two editions differ, as do some of the photos of members of C93 and some of the credits

There will also be two different 12" vinyl versions. The UK version will be on white vinyl and will initially only be available at C93 shows and through our online shop. The North American version will be on black vinyl and comes in a totally different sleeve to the UK version and both CD versions. It will be available from Revolver and North American shops and mail order outlets. It will not be available through Coptic Cat or Jnana Records. Both vinyl editions will have exactly the same music as each other but, once more, the vinyl editions differ slightly, in their bridging music and crossfades, to the UK/European CD and to the North American CD.


The UK/European CD and 12" vinyl will be available on the European tour, as will Drank HoneySuckle Æons, a one-sided 12" picture disc of myself reading the complete text with music by C93, and a HoneySuckle Æons cloth bag. These items will also be available from our online shop. The UK/European CD will also be available in shops.

The North American CD will only be available in shops in North America and via Jnana Records; the North American CD will not be available from the Coptic Cat online shop. It is now available for pre-order from Jnana Records.

There will also be a 2LP test pressing edition of 93 copies in a gatefold sleeve containing the TPs of HoneySuckle Æons and Drink HoneySuckle Æons. This will have original artwork by myself on the cover and will be available in April after the C93 tour.

Coptic Cat are now taking pre-orders for the UK/European CD and LP versions of the album. There are 7 different ways to pre-order, as described below. Please note: the HoneySuckle Æons cloth bag in the pre-order categories will not be available separately and is a different design to the HoneySuckle Æons cloth bag that will be available on tour.

La vostra recensione mi sta dando lo spunto giusto per comprare il disco. Dopo "allucinatory" avevo deciso di non comprare più roba dei C93 e infatti "Baalstorm" non l'ho preso e non mi è venuta nemmeno la curiosità di ascoltarlo... ma da quel che scrivete sembra che Tibet abbia di nuovo cambiato rotta... in meglio!
