Siamo in procinto di pubblicare un'intervista ad EMILIE AUTUMN, la quale, a proposito della recente collaborazione con la leggendaria band inglese ATTRITION, ha dichiarato quanto segue:

All I can tell you is that it was unauthorized, I was never asked to be on that release, and my recordings were used without my permission. Stay tuned to see what happens in court.

Leggerete il tutto tradotto in italiano nell'articolo, tuttavia ci tengo a farvi leggere la risposta di Martin Bowes (leader indiscusso degli ATTRITION): è uno degli amici di Darkroom, sempre gentile e pronto ad ogni tipo di collaborazione, davvero una persona splendida e modesta (nonostante la carriera!), e non potevo esimermi dal chiedergli lumi sulla vicenda... Ecco quanto mi ha scritto:

Welll i am afraid she ISN'T joking.... not in the way you mean anyway....

It's sad..i am really disapointed with Emilie Autumn....
She came to me as a big Attrition fan in 2005... i had never heard of her... but she offered to play with Attrition on anything i would like her to be involved with.... so she recorded the parts she did for "All mine enemys whispers"... i was pleased with them... we talked a lot about other plans... it was good...
then she finally got a record deal...i even reccomended Trisol to her....
She started to get some popularity and i was pleased for her... she worked really hard for it...
She was busy...i didn't hear from her much for a while...
i kept her informed about the release...even posted news about the album on her own forum...even contacted her label so they would know about it...
the album was all pressed and about to come out...
when suddenly her label contacted me and Projekt records shouting that Emilie knew NOTHING about the album.... the very album she had recorded tracks for and sent to me 3 years earlier!!!!!!!!!...
they then started saying she wanted 100% ownership of the song i had written that she had merely added violin to!!!!...
and that the album was nothing more than an Emilie autumn SINGLE...with a few random tracks put round it to make it into an album so we could "cash in" on her work!!!!... (this despite the fact it was a concept album based on a family connection i have with Mary Ann Cotton...an album i had written before she came and asked to be part of it...) they got very nasty...
it was all very wierd you know....
they then said that as she didnt get her way that Emilie wanted ALL COPIES of the album to be destroyed!.... and she was one of EIGHT contributors...she was only on one track as well...
there was more...to much to go into here...

She, and her label seem to think it is ok to shout and try to bully people,,,they think it is perfectly fine to change everything that was said and done before she got a little more known....all for money... but it isn't....and I feel it is really sad when greed overtakes passion in music.
i have never had the misfortune to deal with anyone as arrogant or as greedy as Emilie Autumn and her manager Johnnie...
and i know i am not the only one...
The other contributors...people like Ned from Stromkern,,,and Erica from Rasputina and Unwoman...are also very angry and upset about her....

As a result of this i have thrown her off this album....i've never even heard of this happening before.!... but i have re-recorded that part of the album she was involved with.... my singer Sin has performed a beautiful and haunting version of Rock of ages, and i have had wonderful new cello and violin parts added.... so the first edition of "All mine enemys whispers" is just that...a rarity and a memory now....

i have yet to announce this publicly but feel free to do so...

Bahh.... che brutta storia. Se la versione del signor Attrition è corretta al 100%, non ne viene certo fuori bene la signorina Emilie...

Emilie e' piu' "plasticosa" di Madonna e forse anche meno dotata...
e poi mi chiedo, quali sarebbero questi suoi fantomatici capolavori???

Quoto, sopravvalutata 1, sopravvalutata 2, sopravvalutata 3, sopravvalutata e 4 , ha avuto successo solo per il suo ca**o di immaginario (peraltro già abusato da anni eh, mica 'sta novità... ) da gothic lolita (e manco tanto bona visto che i chili di trucco che si mette non me la fanno piacere per nulla) e per aver avuto la fortuna di trovarsi strade spianate davanti a le nonostante la sua proposta musicale sappia di polveroso e rimescolato... morale della favola: a una persona in cui in due anni la label pubblica anche le scoregge (col violino in sottofondo però ) per succhiare il possibile dai collezionisti o semplici fruitori, beh, è normale che faccia la sborona e che creda che questo suo periodo d'oro non avrà mai fine...

se quella è la vera versione dei fatti, che tristezza di persona!

Ma che roba

Era venuta fuori mesi fa su diversi forum stranieri, e le reazioni sono state naturalmente uguali. Se volete fravi due risate fate un giro sul forum ufficiale della cara violinista rosa, dove le sue fan sfottono gli Attrition chiamandoli "gruppo sconosciuto che sfrutta la popolarità della Autumn", e cercano di farli boicottare.

Si dovrebbe solo inchinare davanti agli Attrition...
Classico esempio di bambinona viziata che sta facendo soldi facili...ma la scuola è quella di Courtney Love, altra donna che non mi è mai piaciuta!!

Poi, per carità, Emilie è un'artista tutt'altra che scarsa. Tuttavia, uscite come quelle che si è fatta dimostrano immaturità e uno spessore umano mediocri, aspetti che non potranno che ripercuotersi sulla sua stessa attività creativa.

Non voglio difendere nessuno, ma dare addosso a lei in questo momento è la cosa più facile che possiate fare, o sbaglio?
...Prendere posizione contro di lei è facile (e va quasi di moda ultimamente...cos'è? invidia forse?), ma fosse stato un artista con qualche anno di carriera in più sulle spalle, forse non avreste esitato a dichiarati neutrali...Come faccio io in questo caso, rifiutandomi di credere o di appoggiare anche solo mezza di una delle due versioni (tra l'altro ad Emilie non è stato chiesto di approfondire la questione nell'intervista, fateci caso...).

Con questo ho detto tutto, aggiungo solo questo: non avrei mai voluto che una mia intervista lasciasse spazio a queste tristi beghe artistiche, ma è andata così e ormai non ci posso fare nulla...Spero che l'articolo venga apprezzato, in ogni caso...

Io non so neanche chi sia questa Emilie Autumn, l'ho solo vista in qualche foto promozionale e non credo mi interessi, certo però che se quanto dice il signor Attrition è vero, è difficile non dargli ragione, no?

A me artisticamente parlando piace, ma questo atteggiamento da diva... Mah... In fondo è solo una ragazzetta viziata che ha avuto (oltre all'indiscutibile talento) anche una buona dose di culo

Da come ne parlate sembra che la conosciate tutti di persona
